That all changed with Disney’s acquisition of the studio which finally returned the rights to one of comics’ most iconic group of characters to Marvel Studios.Īlthough the acquisition was completed in March 2019, Marvel Studios has yet to announce any casting news or X-Men projects but that hasn’t stopped fans from dream casting their favorite actors as we look ahead to the X-Men’s arrival in the MCU.įrom the moment word first broke that Disney was making a play for 20th Century Fox, fans have been tossing out their dream castings for the X-Men’s most iconic characters including the likes of Wolverine, Cyclops and Jean Grey, to name a few.Īnd then there is X-Men fan-favorite Kitty Pryde, who fans are just as eager to see make her MCU debut and who they’re hoping might be brought to life by one of the most talented actresses around, Millie Bobby Brown.
While certain characters such as Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch were able to make the leap to the MCU, the primary roster of X-Men characters have been MIA since the inception of the MCU due to the rights to said characters being in the hands of 20th Century, not Marvel Studios.
